I'm Cassandra Green, and I am running to serve Central Arkansas families in the State House.
To earn your vote, this campaign will have community events, hold a listening tour, and show up at your door. We will engage with you and our community.
I promise to be approachable, a good listener, and an effective communicator for the real issues our community continues to face every day.
My values are firmly rooted in
my Christian beliefs, integrity,
empathy, and family.
These principles were instilled in me by my parents, who, despite facing adversity, taught me to respect everyone. They raised me in Crossett, Arkansas, a small town where the sense of community was profound.
We need more public servants at the State Capitol who are willing to live up to our shared values.
Meet Cassandra Green
Maumelle and North Little Rock's next State Representative
Cassandra Green currently serves as an administrator for Little Rock School District working with students and families across all grade levels.
She also served as the Director of Special Education in Beebe School District and the Director of Education at Rivendell Behavioral Health. She started her career as an itinerant teacher for students with hearing impairments in the North Little Rock School District. Her home has been in Maumelle for over 15 years.
I grew up in a family of career public school teachers. I knew early on that I wanted to devote my life to public education. I love waking up every morning driving into work thinking about the students and the families I get to serve.
With Arkansas LEARNS in place, Central Arkansas deserves a honest voice in the legislature to ensure that our public schools are fully funded and meet the needs of our families.

Former State Representative Jimmy Jeffress
Rep. Jeffress is known for being a common-sense legislator who solved problems for his constituents in Crossett, Green’s hometown. Jeffress was a teacher for 38-years before he retired.
